Nug Nug Reserve

Picturesque Nug Nug Reserve is located in North East Victoria approximately 14km South of Myrtleford on the Buffalo River Rd.

Come and pitch a tent, park your caravan, motor home or bus, or just simply roll out your swag and sit back and relax while you listen to the creek bubbling in the back ground.

In close proximity to Lake Buffalo (10km for swimming, fishing and water skiing), Mount Buffalo (60km for hiking, horse riding or rock climbing) or near by towns such as Myrtleford, Bright or Wangaratta for all your shopping, fine food and wine tasting needs.

With an abundant number of sites available (including powered), through out the Reserve and easy access to water, toilets and showers (cold) your stay will be an enjoyable one here at Nug Nug Reserve.

Location:

Nug Nug Reserve is located in North East Victoria, approximately 14km South of Myrtleford and 3.5 hours North East of Melbourne via the Hume Freeway and the Great Alpine Road.

From Myrtleford turn right at Buffalo River Road and follow for approximately 11kms. 

After passing the Buffalo River CFA shed on your left take the next left. If you cross McGuffies Bridge you have gone too far.

The road will eventually turn to gravel and will come to a fork intersection. Take the left fork and right at the following fork. 

One more fork will greet you approximately 200 meters further down, here you turn right and follow the road down into the camping ground.
